Christmas Demonstration by Lee Berrill

We were pleased to welcome Lee Berrill to demonstrate his “Winter Wonderland”, at our Winter Open Demonstration.   He kept his audience spell-bound with his wonderful designs.  He showed us designs suitable for the dining table, the front door, both sides of the fireplace and a wonderful free standing arrangement.

Derby Cathedral

Fiori

Our member Gill Mills, entered Fiori, held at Southwell Race Course, during September.  This was her first major competition.  She entered two classes and came 2nd in both.  A wonderful achievement and we are all very proud of her.  Her exhibits are shown below

10th Anniversairy

Monday 11th December saw Breaston Flower Circle celebrating their 10th Birthday, when 60 members attended a Dinner and Flower Demonstration at the Lodge on Elm Avenue in Long Eaton.
Denise Tasker had decorated the tables with arrangements using Lilies, foliage, gold leaves and black ting ting representing our Club Logo.

End of year report

Breaston Flower Circle have had a most wonderful 10th Year. We have had many demonstrations, including Tracey Neal with her “Greenleaf Girl”, Pauline Foster, Pat Billing, Marilyn Ottewell. Lesley Smith demonstrated “Just for Pleasure” for our open July meeting while Catherine Gledhill came with her contemporary demonstration “Just for Christmas” for our December Open meeting.

Breaston Flower Circle held a special demonstration on 25th June this year when Ian Buxton demonstrated his “As the Mood Takes Me”.
